Aishah & The Fan Club

THE FAN CLUB were a big hit in 1990 when they released their 1st album "SENSATION" which had three #1 Singles
in New Zealand & Malaysian charts..the hits were "Sensation", "Paradise" and "Call Me".

Their next album titled "RESPECT THE BEAT" also produced 3 hit singles such as "I Feel Love", "Never Gave Up On You" and the only single to actually debut in the US Billboard Hot 100 Charts "Don't Let Me Fall Alone".The remixes for the song was also released and one of the most played dance tunes in the clubs back then.

The members were formed while Aishah was in New Zealand doing her studies in the late 80s where she was spotted by the gang and was asked to join the band. Besides AISHAH (lead vocals) and PAUL MOSS (guitarist), the other members in the band were DAVE LARSEN (drummer), GLENN PETERS (bass) and MALCOLM SMITH (keyboards). FYI, both Malcolm & Paul were also the songwrites/composers/ co-producers of all the songs released in both the albums by THE FAN CLUB.

Besides their hits winning the hearts of fans across Southeast Asia & New Zealand, the band also won the International Artist of the Year at the 1991 New Zealand Music Awards. It was an amazing year for them!!!
