APAOAmorphous Poly-alpha-olefins (APAO), produced by (co-) polymerisation of α-olefins (e.g. ethene, propene, 1-butene) with Ziegler catalysts. The (co-)polymers have a amorphous structure. They are used in the production of hot melts.
