Archnemon
Archnemon, called Arukenimon in the english version, is one of the main villians in the Digimon 02 series. She is digimon in the form of a spider-woman with cow-like horns sticking out from under her matted grey hair and wearing a mask much like most of villains from the past. Queen of the Dokugumon, her quick tempered personality made her feared by most digimon. Arukenimon was based on Arachne, the woman from Greek mythology who was turned into a spider by Athena as punishment for boasting of being a better weaver.

Ablities
Her special ability is to transform into the form of a beautiful woman so she can draw close to her victims. She often says she prefers her true form to the disguise. Her favorite phrase about this is, "I feel pretty again!" In her human-form, she can use her hair-strands in her 'Spirit Needle' spell on Control Spires to create artificial digimon that (usually) obey her command.
Attacks - Acid Mist: Vommiting an acid mist from her mouth.
- Spider Thread: fires a pre-eminently sharp wire that can entrap or slice a enemy.

Arukenimon took over where Ken stopped after the desturction of Kimeramon. When first encountered she appeared in her disuise, but soon revealed her true form. She worked with partner Mummymon. The relationship was not particularly romantic, Archnemon was arrogant and rejected any advances by Mummymon, who stoically consoled himself with developing new plots. Archnemon was killed by MaloMyotismon, in a disturbing way.
