Australia national rugby league team
The Australian national rugby league side represent Australia at rugby league, and are commonly known as the Kangaroos. They are administered by the Australian Rugby League, and have been consistently the best rugby league playing nation for many years. The Kangaroos have dominated the Rugby League World Cup, winning 9 of the 12 competitions. They have not lost an Ashes series to Great Britain since 1970, and have equally dominated series against New Zealand, France and Papua New Guinea. They also won the inaugural Tri-Nations competition in 1999.
