Beijing Schmidt CCD Asteroid ProgramThe BAO Schmidt CCD Asteroid Program or Beijing Schmidt CCD Asteroid Program is/was a project by the Beijing Astrophysical Observatory to discover asteroids. Many hundreds of asteroids have been discovered. For some reason, about half are credited by the Minor Planet Center to "BAO Schmidt" and the other half to "Beijing Schmidt".
