Bihari languages

Bihari is a name given to a group of Indo-Aryan languages spoken in the Bihar state of India.

The Bihari group consists of:

Angika (725,000 speakers)

Bhojpuri (26,254,000 speakers). Written in the Kaithi script.

Kudmali (37,000 speakers)

Magahi (11,362,000 speakers)

Maithili (24,191,900 speakers)

Panchpargania (274,000 speakers)

Sadri (1,965,000 speakers)

Surajpuri (273,000 speakers)
