ChiassoChiasso (pronounced "K'yah-so") is a town in Switzerland. Located at the southern extremity of the canton of Ticino, it is the last town in Switzerland before the border with Italy. Customs facilities on the border with Italy are available. The A2 Swiss motorway passes through Chiasso. Long traffic queues sometimes occur on the motorway before the border where vehicles are being carefully checked.
