Cyprus Airways
Cyprus Airways is the national airline of Cyprus, operating flights from Larnaca and Paphos. It also has a charter airline division - Eurocypria Airlines.

History Cyprus Airways was established in 1947 as a joint venture between the Cypriot Government and BEA - British European Airways. Initially Douglas DC-3s were used on regional routes from Nicosia. From 1953 Vickers Viscounts owned and operated by BEA were used on a London Heathrow service. These were replaced with the introduction of De Havilland Trident Two aircraft acquired from BEA, with BEA red-wings, but otherwise in full Cyprus Airways livery. An all Airbus fleet is now operated.
