Daydream (album)
"Daydream" is a Pop/R&B album from the artist Mariah Carey. It was the first album ever by a female solo-artist to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart. It includes the #1 hits: Fantasy, One Sweet Day, which holds the record for most consecutive weeks at #1 in the US with 16 weeks, and Always Be My Baby. Also, Fantasy is the first song ever by a female solo-artist (and second song overall after Michael Jackson's "You Are Not Alone") to debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, where it spent 8 weeks at the top, 7 more than Jackson was able to achieve. Currently the album has sold 10 million copies in the United States and approximatly 30 million around the world, being her 2nd largest selling album to date, just under her 1993 release Music Box.
