Deir el-BalahDeir Al-Balah, Deir El-Balah, Deir ElBalah Deir AlBalah (دير البلح)Located at the center of the Gaza Strip in Palestine and well-known for its beaches and palm trees, recent excavations uncovered a cemetery dating back to the late Bronze Age and filled with pottery, tombs, bronze pots and a mosaic floor. A monastery was built in Deir al-Balah by St. Helena in 372 AD. |
