Desnica Radivojevic

Desnica Radivojevic

Desnica Radivojević (Десница Радивојевић) is a Bosnian Serb politician and member of the SDA party. He is the current vicepresident of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the first Serb to be appointed to that position. He holds a B.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering.

Before he was elected Vice-president of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Radivojevic served as the Chairman of the Srebrenica Municipal Council, from 1999 to 2002. Before, he was the director of a tin can factory in Skelani, near Srebrenica.

He is the most prominent Serb member of the predominantly Bosniak SDA. At elections in 2002, Radivojevic was SDA's candidate for the position of Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. However, he received only 8% of the votes, far below Mirko Sarovic's 36%.

Radivojevic now lives in Sarajevo with his family.
