Dusty in Memphis
Dusty in Memphis. Dusty Springfield's classic 1969 "white soul" album was produced by Jerry Wexler and Arif Mardin and engineered by Tom Dowd. All three played key roles in Aretha Franklin's career. "So Much Love," "Son of a Preacher Man," "Breakfast in Bed," "Just One Smile," "I Don't Want to Hear About It Anymore," and "Just a Little Lovin'" are important cuts on Dusty in Memphis. In 1999, Rhino Records issued a deluxe remastered CD version of this landmark album with additional tracks.
