Dutch hip hop
Like France, the Netherlands has an African Hip-Hop scene. Rap groups from Cape Verde, a Portuguese-speaking island off the coast of West Africa have been living there. These rappers were E-Life, The Real Vibe, and the Postmen. The Postmen are one of the best groups from the Netherlands. They rap in English adding a Hip-Hop and Reggae flavor. Two of the members are from Cape Verde and one of them is from Suriname, a Dutch-speaking country in South America. The Netherlands is also home to the Rumba-Kali African Hip-Hop magazine. Another important Dutch hip-hop crew is the Osdorp Posse. In 1986, Dutch rap duo MC Miker G & Deejay Sven had a top 10 hit accross Europe with "Holiday Rap", which sampled Madonna's "Holiday".
