EAS (Executive Air Services) Airlines was an airline in Nigeria Two crashes were recorded in early 2001 and May 2002 from EAS Airline. Though, in a swift and highly commendable manner the Accident Investigation and Preventive Bureau (AIPB) after concluding its investigation into the crashes revoked EAS Air Operator Certificate (AOC) for negligence and lack of regard for safety conditions. (Nigeria Business Info May 2003) On Saturday, May 4, 2002, at about 1:30 pm local time, an Executive Air Services British Aerospace EAS Airlines BAC 1-11-500 twin-engined jet crashed upon take-off from Kano International airport, killing 75 passengers and crew on board as well almost 70 more on the ground into whose houses the plane had crashed
