Eglinton (TTC)
Eglinton is a station on the Yonge-University Spadina line of the Toronto subway. It is located at 2190 Yonge Street at Eglinton Avenue West/East. It opened in 1954. Parts of the Canada Square complex are built directly over the station. North of the station, the line changes to bored tunnel with cut-and-cover tunnel at stations. It swings to the right to run directly under Yonge Street again. Eglinton was the northern terminus of the original 1954 subway line.
