Erich BrandenbergerErich Brandenberger (1892-1955). General der Panzertruppe in November 1943, he commanded 8. Panzer Division from February 20, 1941 to January 16, 1943. Awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves. In late 1944 and early 1945, he led the 7th Army on the West Front during the German Ardennes Offensive.
