Falcon Lake Incident

Falcon Lake Incident

Stephen Michalak claimed that on May 19, 1967, he encountered a UFO near Falcon Lake, Manitoba, an event known as the Falcon Lake Incident.

He claimed to have been burned by the craft's exhaust vent, covered by a sort of oval grid.

Michalak's family doctor, R.D. Otaway, reported that Michalak was confused and dazed, but rational. Otaway further reported hair loss, and a series of raised oval-shaped sores on Michalak's chest and abdomen, similar to a first-degree burn.

Health problems plagued Michalak for several months, including weight loss, swelling, and fainting spells. A Mayo Clinic psychiatrist stated Michalak was free of "significant mental or emotional illness."
