F.I.L.M.

F.I.L.M.

F.I.L.M. (For Intelligent Lovers of Movies) was a co-curricular offering at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering in Needham, Massachusetts from Partner Year (2001) until the Spring of 2004, led by Maruta Vitols. After her depature from the college, Lee Edwards reformed F.I.L.M. as a student club, whose acronym now has no official meaning other than as a reference to the co-curricular. F.I.L.M. shows one film a week followed by a short discussion about the film. It focuses on the artistic aspects of cinema for the expressed purpose of further balancing the education of Olin students with the artistic appreciation of film.
