Foley IslandFoley Island is one of the Canadian arctic islands located in Nunavut, Canada. It is along the southern coast of Baffin Island in the Foxe Basin at 68°32'N 75°05'W, and measures 637 square kilometers in area. The island was one of the most modern Canadian discoveries, spotted in 1948 by a Royal Canadian Air Force crew flying an Avro Lancaster, a flight during which neighboring Prince Charles Island and Air Force Island were also found.
