Future Leaders of Pakistan
The Future Leaders of Pakistan (FLP) is an organization that came into being by the advice of top level bureaucrats and politicians of Pakistan. According to them, Pakistan has been under the umbrella of the Military for its whole existence ever since the death of the Founder, Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Corruption, instability, and a dismal economic performance had led them to think about the future. FLP is an organization meant to organize, lobby, and structurally impact the face of politics in Pakistan by using today’s youth, as tomorrow’s leaders as an organized unit of social change. The organization is advised and supported by current leaders who believe that sculpting tomorrow’s leaders is the foremost priority for the development of Pakistan. Currently the organization is being run by students and young professionals who are working towards social justice in Pakistan at all levels. The organization’s performance and agenda are set by the advisory board (the current leaders) and executed by the future leaders based on unanimity. Currently, the President of FLP is Qasim Saddique who is a student at McGill University has been working extensively with the Founder, and Secretary Mahir Sheikh-Nisar to work towards change within Pakistan.
