GenieTexter
GenieTexter is a small free GUI software application for sending SMS messages from an internet connected computer. It is scriptable, allowing you to write scripts to send SMS from the application to any web based SMS sending site. There are a number of scripts available which allow you to send SMS in the UK and also a few which allow SMS to be sent worldwide. The scripts are mainly for free SMS sending services, though some of the sites allow you to buy extra SMS, when you run out of free credits. The program is basically like a mini email client such as Outlook Express, only its dedicated to sending SMS instead of email. GenieTexter is available for the Microsoft Windows operating system.
