Guanacaste National ParkGuanacaste National Park is a fifty acre (200,000 m²) park in central Belize. It is named after a huge Guanacaste tree that escaped being logged because its trunk divided in two near its base, reducing its value as timber. It is located on north side of the Western Highway just to the east of the Roaring Creek bridge - about 50 miles (80 km) west of Belize City. It is run by the Belize Audubon Society.
