HD 93083
HD 93083 is an 8th magnitude star in the constellation of Antlia. It is an orange dwarf (spectral class K2 V), somewhat cooler and less luminous than our Sun. In 2005 the discovery of a planet orbiting the star was announced.
HD 93083 b
HD 93083 b is an extrasolar planet orbiting the star HD 93083. It is probably much less massive than Jupiter, although only the minimum mass is known. The planet's mean distance from the star is about half that of Earth, and the orbit is slightly eccentric.
