HebatThe mother goddess of the Hurrians. Hebat was the consort of Teshub and the mother of Sarruma.A king of Jerusalem mentioned in the Amarna letters (and author of several of same) was named Abdi-Heba or Abd-Hebat, possibly meaning "Servant of Hebat". This suggests that like many Canaanite cities, ancient Jebus may have been ruled by a Hurrian warrior class.
