Hebrew israelites

Hebrew Israelites were, are, and forever shall be, the true descendants of Yakub(Jacob), who was renamed Israel by God. Yakub was a direct descendant of Shem, and was the son of Isaac and grandson of Abraham.

The Israelites(the shorter and more-frequently-used term), entered the land of Canaan, where they lived until 138 AD, when they were dispersed by the Romans.

In recent times various unlikely groups have laid claim to being the dispersed descendants of Israel(Jacob), yet genealogy and scripture had been able to tear down these false claims. Amongst the various groups to have claimed Israelite lineage include the Edomites(descendants of Yakub's brother Edom(Esau)), the Khazars(also known as the Ashkenazi), and even the descendants of Saxon invaders of Britain(many of whom crossed over and became the first white Americans).

Scripture, and archaelogy, however present a clear picture of the Israelites having been a dark-skinned people with vroad, flat noses, and "kinky" hair. Thus today's Israelites remain "lost". God did promise a curse on Israel of being treated as beasts of the field by people who regrded them as no more than chattle, leading many to suggest that the true Israelites are today's black people of the USA, the Caribbean, and Brazil. Dark-skinned 'natives' of Kashmir, suffering the wrath of the India-Pakistan war also fit most criteria of the "curse of Israel".
