He Who WhispersHe Who Whispers is a novel (1946) by detective novelist John Dickson Carr. Like most of the works by this author, it features so-called impossible crimes that are thought to be the work of a supernatural being, in this case a vampire. The detective is Dr. Gideon Fell, who uncovers a rational explanation for the novel's events. It is one of the last great examples of the Golden Age mystery.
