HPod
HPod or iPod + HP is a Hewlett-Packard branded version of Apple Computer's iPod portable music player. There is no difference between either version besides the packaging. It was revealed at the Las Vegas, Nevada Consumer Electronics Show in January 2004 by HP CEO Carly Fiorina (no longer with HP), scheduled to start shipping in June of that year. Both companies expect the HP brand will allow wider adoption, particularly by users of Microsoft Windows. The deal with Apple allows HP to put the device in tens of thousands of retail outlets.
