Hyperbolic algebra

In mathematics, a hyperbolic algebra is a certain type of infinite-dimensional Lie algebra whose Cartan algebra has a signature (i.e. one of the directions has the opposite sign from others). In some sense, the hyperbolic algebras are the simplest infinite-dimensional algebras after Kac-Moody algebras. is an example of a hyperbolic algebra.
