The Hyundai Accent (sold in some regions as the Verna) is a compact car produced in Korea. It replaced the Excel in the company's lineup.
2000
The Accent was updated with a larger body for 2000. Engines: 1.6 L 12-valve SOHC Beta I4, 92 hp (69 kW) and 97 ft.lbf (132 Nm)
2006 Hyundai introduced a new-generation Accent at the 2005 New York International Auto Show. A new exterior, larger interior, and CVVT engine are the notable features. Engines: 1.6 L Theta I4, 110 hp (82 kW) and 107 ft.lbf (145 Nm)
