Iran Khodro

Iran Khodro is a major Iranian industrial concern, which manufactures automobiles for the domestic market and export. Iran Khodro produces Iran's national car Samand which is for the most part made and produced in Iran. The firm has an industrial agreement with Peugeot, and most of its other models are produced under licence from the French firm.

Models include the Paykan (a version of the Rootes-developed Hillman Hunter), and the Peugeot 405.
