IRC script
IRC script is a way of shortening commands while talking to other people via IRC. It's more suitable to call them aliases. You can bind some command to a set of commands, or give it some parameters, to save time when typing them over and over. For example, one might substitute a command "/join #channel" to "/j channel" to save exactly 5 keystrokes (counting Shift). Beware, if you get them off the Internet, some of them may contain backdoors or similar malicious commands, so instead of talking to a friend, you end up deleting your complete home directory, so it's best to write them by yourself. There are different scripts for different types of IRC clients: UNIX, mIRC and others. One of the resources is Collection of mIRC scripts
