Jeremy Sumpter

Sumpter was born in California, but was raised in the small town of Mount Sterling, Kentucky until he was 11. When he moved to Lexington, Kentucky to model, he won IMTA's Pre-Teen Male Model of the Year award in 2000. Soon afterward, he and his family moved to Los Angeles, where he currently resides.

During the filming on Peter Pan, Sumpter grew eight inches taller. A window frame at Wendy's nursery in which Peter stands had to be remade four times, so that Sumpter didn't have to crouch to get in. Sumpter said, "And Hook is supposed to be a lot bigger than I am, right? When I got taller, Jason (Isaacs, the actor playing Captain Hook) had to stand on an apple box."

He is the brother of little known actresses Jessica Sumpter and Gigi Sumpter.
