KROQ Weenie Roast


Weenie Roast is an annual concert tour that began in 1993. It is presented by the Los Angeles, California, USA radio station KROQ.

The concert has always aired on the second or third Saturday in June since it was aired.

List of group tours by year and bands in alphabetical order

  • June 12, 1993 - The first annual with Terence Trent D'Arby, Dramarama, Gin Blossoms, The Lemonheads, The London Suede, The Posies, Rocket From the Crypt, Bettie Serveert, Stone Temple Pilots, The The, and X.
  • June 11, 1994 - The second annual with The Afghan Whigs, Beck, Candlebox, Counting Crows, Frente, Green Day, James, The Offspring, Oingo Boingo, Pavement, The Pretenders, Rollins Band, and The Violent Femmes.
  • June 17, 1995 - The third annual with Better Than Ezra, Bush, Elastica, Hole, Rage Against the Machine, The Ramones, Rancid, Soul Asylum, Sponge, Sublime, Matthew Sweet, Throwing Muses, and White Zombie.
  • June 15, 1996 - The fourth annual with Everclear, Foo Fighters, Fugees, Garbage, Goldfinger, Kiss, Korn, Lush, No Doubt, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, 311, and The Verve Pipe,
  • June 14, 1997 - The fifth annual with Blur, The Chemical Brothers, The Cure, Echo and the Bunnymen, Foo Fighters, The Mighty, Mighty Bosstones, Oasis, The Offspring, Radiohead, Reel Big Fish, Social Distortion, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Third Eye Blind, and The Wallflowers.
  • June 20, 1998 - The sixth annual with Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Blink-182, Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Creed, The Crystal Method, Deftones, Everclear, Harvey Danger, Madness, Marcy Playground, Ozomatli, The Prodigy, Save Ferris, and Third Eye Blind.
  • June 19, 1999 - The seventh annual with Blink-182, Freestylers, Kid Rock, Korn, Limp Bizkit, Lit, Live, The Living End, Lo Fidelity Allstars, Metallica, Moby, Orgy, Pennywise, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Smash Mouth, and Sugar Ray.
  • June 17, 2000 - The eighth annual with Creed, Cypress Hill, Everclear, Godsmack, Incubus, Korn, Limp Bizkit, Lit, Moby, No Doubt, The Offspring, Ozzy Osbourne, Stone Temple Pilots, and Third Eye Blind.
  • June 23, 2001 - The ninth annual with Blink-182, Coldplay, Crazy Town, The Cult, Disturbed, Jane's Addiction, Linkin Park, The Living End, New Found Glory, Pennywise, Papa Roach, Stabbing Westward, Staind, Stone Temple Pilots, Sum 41, and 311.
  • June 15, 2002 - The tenth annual with Bad Religion, Hoobastank, Jack Johnson, Jimmy Eat World, Moby, New Found Glory, P.O.D, Papa Roach, Puddle of Mudd, The Strokes, System of a Down, Unwritten Law, The Vines, The Violent Femmes, and Rob Zombie.
  • June 14, 2003 - The eleventh annual with AFI, The Ataris, Blur, Chevelle, Deftones, Finch, Foo Fighters, Godsmack, Good Charlotte, Hot Hot Heat, Interpol, Jane's Addiction, Less Than Jake, Liam Lynch, Staind, Sum 41, Thrice, The Transplants, The Used, The White Stripes, and Pete Yorn.
  • June 12, 2004 - The twelfth annual with Bad Religion, Beastie Boys, Cypress Hill, The Hives, Hoobastank, The Killers, Modest Mouse, New Found Glory, Story of the Year, The Strokes, Velvet Revolver, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Yellowcard.
  • June 11th or 18thth, 2005 - The thirteenth annual has not been announced yet.
