Lam Yiu Quai

 

Lam Yiu Quai

Lam Yiu Quai was a Dragon Style kung fu master. He learned this art from Dai Jo. He also learned the Saam Tong Gor Kiu (“Three Ways to Cross the Bridge”) form from the monk Wong Lee Giu and the form Mui Fa Chut Lo (“Plum Flower Fist in Seven Sections”) from Ke Hing Ma. He was born in 1877 in the Wai_Yeung distrinct in the Guangdong province of China. Lam Yiu Quai died in Hong Kong in 1964 at the age of 94. He had had 7 children. He move to Guangzhou city in the 1920 to teach martial arts. He opened schools in Guangzhou city to teach Dragon Style Kung Fu. He passed the art on to his son Grand Master Lam Kwun Quon who in Hong Kong supervises the Dragon Sign Athletic Associtation Ltd.
