Barber is a freelance writer (and blogger) with articles, book reviews, columns and essays published in the Washington Times, Washington Post, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Denver Post, Baltimore Times, Today's Christian Woman and other publications. Her work also appears online in Jewish World Review, Townhall.com, and other sites. Nationally syndicated conservative talk show host Hugh Hewitt has said Barber is "a rising star of the blogosphere".
