LaToya Langford
LaToya Langford was an obssessed fan who, gave the group, Destiny's Child, threats, mainly through the mail, but also used online resources and telephoned the label the group was attached to. Langford took an obsession with lead singer Beyonce Knowles and soon aimed her threats at her. Langford, calls herself a lesbian, and her family and friends say that Langford's threats were motivated by sexual desire that she may have had for the actress. Langford, however, continued her threats against the singer. Acting on a tip, police arrested Langford in her home on August 23, 2004, in San Diego, California.
