LAW 80
The LAW 80 is an anti-tank weapon in service with the British Army. LAW stands for Light Anti-armour Weapon. It is a 94 mm High Explosive Anti Tank (HEAT) weapon system, portable by one person and capable of destroying armoured vehicles at distances up to 500 m. It is to be replaced by the Next Generation Light Anti-tank weapon (NLAW). In May 2002 the Main Battle Tank and Light Armour Weapon, MBT LAW, developed by Saab Bofors Dynamics, was selected to fill this requirement.

Trivia The spotting rifle from LAW 80 was used on the USMC SMAW.
Addermine Addermine is an acoustic sensor system which utilises the LAW 80 as a kill mechanism to create an off-route mine. It can also be command detonated from up to 200 m away.
