Law of Consecration
The Law of Consecration is one of the names Latter Day Saints or Mormons give to a communitarian doctrine that calls upon the church's membership to hold all things in common. Based on a belief that members of the original Christian church in the 1st century A.D. had such a practice, many Latter Day Saints have attempted to put the "Law of Consecration" into practice.
