Leaded glass
The term leaded glass either refers to: - glass containing lead oxide, which increases its density and enhances its refraction and dispersion of light. Flint glass is often leaded; it is fashioned into rhinestones which are used to imitate diamond.
- glass having lead added as an impediment to the transmission of radiation, as used in aircraft used in testing nuclear weapons.
- glass panels made by combining multiple small pieces glass, which may be stained, textured or beveled, with cames.
