French team for the 32nd America's cup

Matured by the experiment of its two preceding campaigns, the DEFI has, since the end of America' S Cup 2003, establish the bases of its new participation. An enormous work is accomplished with the team to build the new organization.

Philippe Presti, who proved great qualities throughout the last america's cup 2003 and in particular during the quarter of Finales, is confirme at the post of skipper. Philippe Mourniac is a tactician, Pierre Mas embarks on board, Luc Gellusseau takes the general direction of the operations.
The DEFI participate to the Pre-Regattas of the year 2004 and search somes sponsort, in order to conduct a campaign of quality.

Act 1 of Marseilles validated the new organisational principles of the DEFI. The DEFI defends in America' S Cup its values: passion and enthusiasm, solidarity and transparency, obstinacy and determination.
The first part of the eliminating heat of the america' S cup showed that without technical team and with courage, a small French team is abble to dominate any challenger.

Its objectives: to integrate the talents, to be based on the experiment, to build a team which will be able to give and give itself pleasure in the effort and confrontation, and the come day, to be ready to surprise.
