Lee Donohue
Lee Donohue (Born 1943) is the former Chief of the Honolulu Police Department and is a resident of Mililani, Hawaii. He is 1/4 Irish, 3/4 Korean. He is married to Lucille Park. They have two sons and two daughters He joined Honolulu Police Department on July 1, 1964, at 21 years of age Veteran of 40 years. His service records include duties as patrol officer, major of the Pearl City police station and the Leeward Coast station; Records and Identification; Communications; Narcotics; Vice and Internal Affairs; Deputy Chief of Police. During a sparing session with other officiers at the Honolulu Police Academy, Mr. Donohue suffered a heart attack. New defibrillators had been issued to the police department that month and one was immediately used, saving Mr. Donohue's life. First Hawaii police chief to intergrate wireless technology into patrol cars, and upgraded the Honolulu Police radio systems to digital.
