Lierde Lierde is a municipality located in the Belgian province of East Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Deftinge, Hemelveerdegem, Sint-Maria-Lierde and Sint-Martens-Lierde. On January 1st, 2004 Lierde had a total population of 6,399 (3,179 males and 3,220 females). The total area is 26.13 km² which gives a population density of 244.93 inhabitants per km². External links
