LieselLiesel is short for Elizabeth, but the name got popular in the 17. century. Famous Liesel's are ispecially Liesl in the sound of music. Liesel is mostly used as a firstname, but there are cases with Liesel as lastnames. In Denmark are there about 7 Liesel. 6 of them are older women, born under the war. The last, and youngest Liesel is a young danish/german student who is named after here grandmother from poland. |
