Lord Charles Wellesley
Major-General Lord Charles Wellesley (January 16, 1808 - October 9, 1858) was a British politician and courtier. His parents were Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington and The Honourable Catherine Sarah Dorothea Pakenham, daughter of Edward Michael Pakenham, 2nd Baron Longford. He married Augusta Sophia Anne Pierrepont, daughter of The Right Honourable Henry Manvers Pierrepont, on July 9, 1844. He was the MP for South Hampshire in 1847, and the MP for Windsor in 1852. He was also a Chief Equerry and Clerk Marshall to Queen Victoria. He had six children: - Lady Victoria Alexandrina Wellesley
