Lulu Lamer
Lulu Lamer (born in Vermont) is a video game producer, cartoonist, cook and trained midwife. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, with a BA in French language & literature. She worked at Looking Glass Studios for many years; there, her first job was playtesting the first Thief. She went on to work testing System Shock 2 and Thief 2, where she transitioned to an Associate Producer role. She was in the same role for the third Thief game when the studio closed. Later Lamer went to work at Ion Storm Austin as a producer on Thief: Deadly Shadows title that they picked up there. She took a break from work at Ion Storm to pursue midwifery. Later she returned to the video game industry as a producer on the Tomb Raider title being produced by Crystal Dynamics. Lamer is an accomplished cook, favoring vegetarian and vegan recipes. In addition, she authors a semi-regular cartoon about her life on her web site Bitter Greens.
