M'era Luna Festival
The M'era Luna Festival is one of the most important events of the gothic or wave scene in Europe. It is located and held in Hildesheim, Germany every summer. The show started from the ashes of the former Zillo festival, held on the same site, a former British Army base. M'era Luna includes camping facilities and has two stages; one, a former aircraft hanger and the other, a large rock festival style structure, erected for the show each year. Around 20,000 people attend the festival every summer, many flying in via Hannover airport, with others travelling via road and railway
