Mecha Tails

Mecha Tails (also known as the Puppet Tails or Metal Tails) was first introduced in video game, Sonic R. It was also the last time he appeared in the Sonic Universe. No information was given in either the game nor in the instruction manual. The only thing we can say for sure is that he was created by Dr. Eggman (Ivo Robotnik), but for what purpose, we'll never know.

Mecha Tails

Unlike Mecha Sonic and Mecha Knuckles, Mecha Tails was not exactly a robotic-counterpart. Instead, it was more of a puppet that could move. It swayed left to right when moving foward and it did not even come close to matching the speed of the other Mechas.
