Meta-searchA meta-search is a search of other searches. Like a list of lists, it can be used to consolidate data from multiple sources. Initiating a meta-search is a fairly simple process of searching through the search results of the target searches.Metasearch engineMeta search engines are a slight variation on a traditional search engine, in that they allow users to search several search engines at once.
