Mimic octopus
The Indonesian mimic octopus is a species of octopus that has the uncanny ability to mimic other sea creatures. This octopus is about 30cm in length, with brown and white stripes covering its body. Living in the tropical seas of South East Asia, it was not officially discovered until the late 20th century. The main reason being, divers thought they were seeing other common animals in which the octopus is mimicking. So far, it is said to be able to copy the physical likeness of about 20 different species, concluding that this octopus, as well as others, is of highly intelligence. National Geographic.com Article
