Mr. Sub
Mr. Sub, originally called Mr. Submarine before the 1990s is a popular submarine sandwich store chain in Canada. The first store was opened in 1967. The franchise is owned by Mr. Submarine Limited. Its headquarters are located on Yonge Street, originally on Spadina Avenue, in Toronto, Ontario. While it was originally the only major retailer of submarine sandwiches, it has begun to suffer from stiff competition from Subway, as well as new arrival, Quizno's. Mr. Sub's slogans were Good Lub, then Fresh thinking is what we are, and followed by There's always something good going down at Mr. Sub, its present slogan. With the rising backlash against fast-food, Mr. Sub has repeatedly emphasized the relative healthiness of its products.
